Dr. Andrea Swei
Dr. Andrea Swei (@Andeswei) is an Asian-American woman and disease ecologist, and associate professor of biology at San Francisco State University. Dr. Swei studies how global change is impacting disease distribution, decline in amphibians due to a fungal pathogen, and generally works to understand the impacts of human-induced change on disease ecology.

Dr. Nicole Soltis
Dr. Nicole Soltis (@nic0lise) is a plant biologist who studies the genetics of plant disease. She is also passionate about science communication and evidence-based policy. She was a cofounder of Sacramento’s Science Distilled and is currently a Science Fellow at California Council on Science and Technology (CCST). She is generally active in science communication and leads a student group called "Science Says".
