Diverse Voices in Ecology
Dr. Nathalie Nagalingum
Dr. Nathalie Nagalingum (@NNagalingum on twitter), born in Australia and a first-generation Mauritian, specialized in studying the evolution of ferns and cycads. Dr. Nagalingum began her career in paleobotany, which led to studing cycads, an ancient order of plants now found in the tropical regions on the world. She has worked to identify new species, create a database of cycad species, and to inform conservation efforts for cycads.
