Dr. Emilio Bruna
Dr. Emilio Bruna (@BrunaLab) is a professor at the University of Florida. His research focuses on how landscape alterations influence plant-animal interactions and populations in South America’s largest biomes: the Amazon and the Cerrado. He is president of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation. Also, he is the director of the Florida-Brazil linkage institute.

Dr. Jonathan C. Hall
Dr. Jonathan C. Hall (@outherejch) is a black man studying human/animal interactions through an interdisciplinary approach. Dr. Hall has a body of research that he has done on vultures, specifically the California Condor and Indian Vulture. He has also conducted research on food systems, black and indigenous geographies, and hosts a blog on black experiences in academia.
