Dr. Earyn Mcgee
Herpetologist and founder of the social media game #findthatlizard, Dr. Earyn Mcgee (@afro_herper) studies the impacts of stream desiccation on lizard communities. Dr. Mcgee uses her social media platform to spread awareness about DEI issues and aims to bring more black women like herself into STEM. She has served as a mentor for the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program, a program that works to increase diversity in conservation.

Laura Kojima
Laura Kojima (@laurakojima) is a Mexican-American woman and a grad student at the University of Georgia. Kojima studies alligators and crocodiles, looking at ecotoxins and mercury in crocodilian's diet; she also does science communication and uses her social media platforms to make herpetology more accessible and exciting to the general public.
